What is Blockchain?

Blockchain is an open, distributed ledger which records transactions

between parties in a verifiable and permanent way

In layman’s term, it is an immutable public ledger

It allows us to agree on the order of a set of records

without trusting a central authority

Blockchain burst out in 2008, which serves as

the public transaction ledger of the cryptocurrency

It successfully eliminated the double-spending problem

in digital cash without the need of a trusted central authority

Thanks to Bitcoin, now there are more than thousands

of tokens exist in the market

and we can expect more to come in the future

changing the global economy
